Fly91 launches Vijayawada-Tirupati flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays

Fly91 began flights on the Tirupati-Vijayawada route on Thursday (September 10, 2026), the Airports Authority of India (AAI) at the Vijayawada International Airport announced.

Gannavaram MLA Yarlagadda Venkata Rao, who attended the inaugural ceremony as the chief guest, presented the first boarding passes to the family that booked the flight’s first tickets. Tirupati MLA Arani Srinivasulu and Airport Director M. Lakshmi Kantha Reddy were also present. The inaugural flight from Tirupati was welcomed at the Vijayawada airport with a water cannon salute.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Venkata Rao said that international flights to Dubai would greatly benefit residents in the catchment areas of the Krishna and Godavari districts, and asked Union Minister of Civil Aviation Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu to expand the international network from the Vijayawada airport.

The Fly91 flight between Vijayawada and Tirupati operates four days a week: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Flight IC-3511 departs Tirupati at 8.05 a.m. and arrives at Vijayawada at 9.15 a.m. Flight IC-3512 departs Vijayawada at 9.45 a.m. and arrives at Tirupati at 10.50 a.m.
