HDFC Bank shares hit another fresh 52-week low, second straight day, on Thursday as the stock continued to remain in focus after investors weighed MD and CEO Jagdishan’s decision not to seek another term.

The stock traded at ₹688 at 10.20 am after touching a 52-week low of ₹686.20, down from the previous close of ₹687.10.

Stock movement

In the pre-open session, HDFC Bank shares remained firm at around ₹687. During the day, the stock surged to ₹690.75 before slipping.

The buy quantity stood at 48.59 per cent at 14,48,214, while the sell quantity was 51.41 per cent at 15,32,033.

The traded volume of shares was 75.60, with a traded value of ₹520.35 crore.

Key levels

The upper band and lower band were fixed at ₹755.80 and ₹618.40, respectively. The adjusted P/E ratio stood at 13.22.

HDFC Bank’s total market capitalisation stood at ₹10.59 lakh crore.

Over the week, the stock’s absolute returns fell 2.63 per cent. For the month, it declined 5.88 per cent, while YTD, it slumped 30.58 per cent.
