A massive fire broke out at a chemical factory in the Dhoom Manikpur area of Greater Noida at around 2 am on Thursday, triggering a major firefighting operation.

The blaze quickly intensified and spread across parts of the factory premises, also engulfing several vehicles parked inside the facility.

Following the incident, teams from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), fire brigade and Badalpur Police rushed to the spot and launched firefighting operations.

All people present inside the premises were safely evacuated, and no casualties have been reported so far.

More than two dozen fire tenders have been deployed to bring the blaze under control, with firefighting operations continuing for nearly five hours.

The incident falls under the jurisdiction of Badalpur Police Station. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
