SS Retail, a multi-brand retail chain for mobile phones, accessories and other electronic items, plans to raise ₹500 crore through a combination of fresh equity issuance and offer-for-sale on the mainboard.
The company has fixed the price band at ₹403 to ₹424 per equity share. The issue opens for bidding on Wednesday. Bids can be made for a minimum of 35 equity shares and in multiples of 35 thereafter.
SS Retail will make fresh equity issuance worth ₹360 crore and an OFS of shares worth ₹140 crore by the promoters.
The company has operations in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Goa and Gujarat. It deals in multiple product categories across the metros and in small cities.
As of March-end, the company operated 503 stores across 215 cities with 458 stores in Maharashtra, the largest mobile phone retail chain in West India and the third largest in India.
The company operates primarily through three brands -- SS Mobile, Mobile Exchange Wala and The Mobile Space. During FY26, it acquired 51 per cent stake in Olineo Nexus India, which had 34 stores in Maharashtra.
