The fourth day of the Telangana Assembly’s Monsoon session would begin with a significant number of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLAs, including working president K.T. Rama Rao, not in the House. Over 20 of them were suspended for remainder of the ongoing session on Wednesday (September 9, 2026). 

Meanwhile, some of the key questions that are scheduled to be asked in the Assembly on Thursday (September 10, 2026) include wage revision for industrial workers, increase in wages for unorganised sector workers, CCTV surveillance in RTC buses, vegetable cultivation in the State.

The proceedings on Wednesday (September 9, 2026) ended after Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced a full-fledged probe into series of incidents from Sunday (September 6, 2026), including the alleged remarks of BRS MLCs against the Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar. Thereafter, a delegation of the Congress met Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla and submitted a memorandum seeking his intervention as the highest custodian of the Constitution in the State to protect the dignity, safety and self-respect of Dalits and women, both within and beyond the physical boundaries of the Legislature.
