Yadgir to host district-, taluk-level Dasara sports meet on September 26, 28

The Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports and the Zilla Panchayat, Yadgir, said the CM Cup District- and Taluk-level Dasara Sports Meets for 2026–27 will be organised at the Yadgiri District Stadium on Saturday and Monday (September 26 and 28).

Taluk-level meet

The taluk-level meet on Saturday (September 26) will feature events for both men and women, including athletics, volleyball, kho-kho, kabaddi, football, throwball, and yoga.

District-level meet

The district-level sports will be conducted on September 28. The event will feature athletics, volleyball, kho-kho, kabaddi, football, throwball, yoga, basketball, wrestling, badminton, hockey, handball, table tennis, ball badminton, tennis, netball, swimming, taekwondo, judo, wushu, and karate.

The Assistant Director of Youth Empowerment and Sports instructed all registered athletes to report at the Yadgir District Stadium by 9 a.m. on the respective event dates along with their online registration copies.
